Our group conducted extensive research to develop a concept that engages all five senses, aiming to provoke emotions and shift mindsets. We centered our approach around the theme of “vibrations,” combining sound and geometric patterns to create a memorable experience for students, parents, and industry professionals at our Showcase.
The design concept features a cohesive visual identity with a portrait orientation and a color palette of black, white, and beige—symbolizing density, rhythm, and amplification. Our logo reflects this theme, merging geometric patterns with the concept of vibrations. We also created a 2-in-1 promotional poster that doubles as an interactive installation, incorporating a QR code leading to a website where attendees can explore the Showcase’s concept and interact digitally. This experience is further enhanced by NFC tags around campus that sync with attendees’ interests, causing their phones to vibrate near relevant displays, and by vibrating visual effects in email invitations to reinforce the theme. Through these elements, we aim to break design norms and create a deeply engaging and thought-provoking event.
